Cause and Effect

Well, what were you expecting? You just kept pushing and pushing. I was bound to fall off the cliff sooner or later.

Wow, I have been walking along a cliff edge too.

Now I'm back ready to start work on my writing.

Best wishes,
Annie

Who's Cliff and why haven't you written about him before?

That's a beautiful picture to illustrate your point. :)

We're all walking on cliffs these days, one way or another.

Staying on the edge not only makes you walk more carefully, it also lets you see both sides at once.

Annie, Best of luck with your writing. Looking forward to seeing it published.

VE, Ya, Cliff is a sneaky fellow. Not to be trusted.

Chani, Yes, I just sometimes wish I wasn't walking so close to the edge.

NYD, The view is stunning, it really is. I just don't want to loose my footing.

I hate being pushed. Cliffs are inevitable, for the most part.

Carla said...

Steffi, It's good to be back. August has been a busy month.

Carlae, Yes, pushiness is definitely not pleasant. As for the cliffs, if careful, they offer a nice view.

Pushing stresses big time, its not my thing! I'm all for PAECE :)
Working life has me pushing myself, thats o.k. as long as I do it to myself.

You either get pushed or jump. But that's the easy part. The landing is what really hurts. I wanna be a bird.

JBelle, Thanks. I do like the scenery around these parts.

Mone, We'll get along just fine. I feel the same way. And do the work push as well.

Carla said...

RJ, Yes, we always hope to land on our feet, and occasionally to just stay afloat. Thanks for stopping by.

no! no! maybe you didn't fall. perhaps you were drawn by the beautiful stillness of the water and just wanted to get away from the pushing. just wanted some peace and quiet.

Interesting mix for contemplation. It's certainly not a slip when you're pushed. Care must be taken with whom one walks the edge with. Good to see you back, Nomad.

I always seem to bounce back somehow. Cliff smliff I always say. Actually, I have never said that.

Hope you had a good summer. I've been a bit out of touch myself.

No cliffs here but plenty of sink holes.

Carla said...

Pandave, The peace and quiet is for sure what I've been searching for.

Fool, Yes, I'm taking much better care in whom I chose to walk beside me these days.

Carla said...

Mark, Indeed.

Burdock boy, Yes, the summer is certainly a busy time and it ends up being quite easy to fall out of touch I've discovered.

Carla said...

Maggie, Be careful. I wouldn't want you to twist your ankle.

Did you actually fall?
I believe that the real stuff happens on the edge. It is always like that. When there is a separation of two worlds, it is right where the two of them collide, mesh, interact that you have energy. Either one of the two sides is just fine, the fracture is the juicy part. But of course I don't really know why you wrote this post so I am guessing here. I just care about you.
Good night and good luck.

Fuser, That I did. I've been walking close to the edge for far too long. But being in mid-flight certainly awakens one's senses.
