The Hired Help

Bentley has been after me for a formal introduction for quite some time now, so I figure I'd better oblige. Who knows what his humour would be like if I put it off for too much longer. So without further ado, I present Bentley, all bear, one hundred percent German mohair and glass eyes. Bentley, say hello, I'm sure that everyone is more than happy to make your acquaintance. If you somehow missed it, Bentley is a bellhop and if you ever stay chez moi, he will be more than happy to attend to your luggage. But really, he would rather shoot the breeze while slowly sipping coffee or better yet scotch.

Bentley is quite fond of Miss Maddie, which I am sure you all know is short for Madeline. He would love to parade her around for you all to admire, but she’s a little camera shy. In any case, she’s taken off for an afternoon of shopping with friends and will swing by Oso Negro on the way home for some coffee and cake. Yes, I know, it really is about time I do a post on the famous Oso Negro, and I’ll be right on it soon enough. In the meantime, I will leave you all for some friendly chitchat with Bentley. .

Does Bentley come with a Bentley (the car)? If so, I'll take one too please...

Oh, and you are starring in my meme movie. It'll be posted on Thu 8/7. Try to avoid sugar and medications up to 24 hours prior to viewing and may the force be with you...

What does Bentley do when he is in the woods?

My mom would love that bear! She collects 'em, gives 'em away, and collects more.

Bentley! You look mahvahrous!

VE, I was wondering the same thing myself. There used to be a Bentley that parked close to the inner harbour in Victoria that we would see every time we were visiting when I was young. Loved those cars since then.

NYD, Why has a picnic, of course. Isn't that what bears do in the woods?

Doug, I would find it hard to give my bears away. They have such personalities. Regular members of the family, they are.

Josh, Who worries about being wise while drinking scotch? I'm sure it'll end up being a long night. Lot's of world problems that need solving. Good luck. I'll check in with you in the morning.

JBelle, Bentley is blushing. But of course he thinks you're right.

Oh come on! I showed you Mr. Bentley and Miss Maddie....tell her to come out and make a cameo appearance.

The big difference of course is that Mr. Bentley is not fond of Maddie, he's envious of her. He only wants to steal her chew bone every chance he gets!

This is certainly an interesting idea! :)

And as NYD said, what does he do in the woods?

ooh bentley, how do you do?
i can't wait for our laid back, late nights of chat and drinks.

Rowena, Of course I know Maddie, but I'm trying to remember Mr. Bentley. Hmm... My mind is going. In any case, I'll have to talk to Miss Maddie about it. Perhaps she'd be willing to make an appearance just for you.

Chani, Picnic... he picnics out in the woods.

Pandave, And Bentley is sure looking forward to his conversations with you. He knows that conversations with you are something to be coveted.

Tracey, For you, of course I will vote. And yes, do post yours.

Annie, A very fine bear he is indeed. And very well mannered.

Pamela, And for you, I'm sure Bentley would come running.
