Hello dear, what does "tap out" mean? I looked it up but with little satisfaction... Anyway, I guess it is nothing you shouldn't be proud of...let me know if you need a lift to get home. Be safe. Good night and good luck.
Fede, Oh the expressions we use and where they come from. Well, you picked an interesting one. To "tap out" is a term that was originally used in combat sports. It means to submit or give up in a match in order to avoid further pain or injury. Tapping out usually occurs when the person's opponent has either gotten them into a painful lock from which they can not escape, or they are simply receiving too much punishment to continue. To tap out, one usually either taps the mat or his opponent three times. In my case, I simply mean that I'm taking a break from it all.
Thanks Carla, it makes sense. I just came back from San Diego. I was tapping out (is the expression allows the present continuous...). Just got home and ready to go to bed. Good night, and good luck. Fede
Dawn, I hear you. I find that especially because spring has come so late this year, I'm really behind on my gardening and yard work. And now I really would like to enjoy the sunshine. Busy, busy.

Hey Pinks, exactly what I'm doing. Always good to take care of oneself.

Fede, Of course the present continuous is allowed. Hope the studies are going well.
As an Aquarian - your mystique photo - says truly of my star sign...
Images - express what we desire to say - if only we had the time.
Vision denied, Seems like you have lots of vision to me. Thanks for dropping by.
Sticking with the pipe theme. I feel that way too and have not had much time for myself or blogging.
