Today's Mantra

I pledge to see all challenges, joys and sorrows as the ground from which I grow. All things are interdependent, temporary, and empty of inherent existence. When it comes time to part, I will try to look back with joy. One cannot hold onto anything forever.

I like this post because it makes me look for a solution to:
"one can not hang on to everything forever".
I think I found it.
I'm tying my next husband to the kitchen chair & then the bedpost when night falls. I'll bury him in the backyard too. I'll pull my chair up to his tombstone and remember the joyful days while he was alive.
LOL!
Nice picture by the way! I just love your pictures!

this works perfectly with the yoga class i just came from. after every pose you are encouraged to "let it go". whatever happened, let it go.
and then this pearl to bring it all together

You have a way of thought provoking expression, enhanced beautifully by image.

Envoy-ette, That's funny. I guess that's one way to remedy the problem.

Fool, Glad you like the photo. It's always a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Pandave, I'll try to remember this the next time I'm in a yoga class.

Peter, Thank you. Very kind of you to say.
