To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The simplicity of it all, eh Nomad? Nice reminder for these apparently complicated times. And from the gleanings I've gathered over time - you wear this reflection well. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

Pete, Hmm...
Fool, It baffles me how we can complicate seemingly simple matters. Such is life, I suppose.
We only got the one night's display of Northern Lights. Our displays tend to not be as vibrant as those farther north, but exciting nonetheless.
Pandave, You're most sweet. Thank you.
I LOVE this quote from Mr Emerson, oddly enough I was looking for in on a plaque today. However I only found it here and not the store I was at.
I haven't been here for a while, hope all is well and the outlook for 2011 is bountiful in all the right ways.
