The Task

There comes a time
when one must remove
all evil from his life.
Surgically cut it away
with a razor sharp knife
that runs deep and makes
the blood flow thick and fast
like the letting done
with leeches long ago.

What if we cut all of the evil away and nothing is left?

That's the wheel: destroying, creating. As Shiva, Jesus, etc.
Why blood is so "adherent"?

We're Doomed, Then I guess we can enjoy the beauty of the emptiness.

Aaoiue, I guess because it's thought to cleanse and purify.

Carla, perhaps meditation would help cut the evil out without all of the bleeding. Try this meditation class..

yes... and most of us cling instead of cut.

It this is what is on the other side, the surgery is well worth it.

We're Doomed, That's hilarious! I think he has the right idea.

Pamela, So, so true. Sometimes we just don't know what's good for us, do we?

Pandave, I really hope it is.

Gorgeous photo. A true statement. Unfortunately sometimes one waits too long and the surgery is so much more severe than it could have been.

Dawn, Yes, unfortunately I have always been one of those bleeding hearts that believes in giving everyone second, third and fourth chances when I perhaps shouldn't. I am, however, starting to learn.
