Think of me on a snowy day when the north wind hastily exhales her frigid breath in your direction. When you're inside, warm, protected and have almost forgotten our once bold memories, I pray you the window to open a crack. Allow me to return. In sacred slumber our past lies riding lightly on the wave of a dream. I have replaced my heartbeat with your name.

omigod. that brought me to tears. (big sigh)
can I post this? (still quivering)
JBelle, You are way too sweet. Of course you can post if you wish.
You have a tear-stirring talent!
I closed my eyes...
and I felt the chill blow across my face and a responding tingle down my spine.
Well Carla, that is a very profound statement. Is there more to this than you have told us?
the pic is wonderful
Fida, Hope you don't need to use too much tissue.
Pamela, You better pull a little closer to the fire. I would not want for you to catch a cold.
We're Doomed, Just a mingling of things coming together. Nothing to worry about.
Siska, Thanks. It was a very grey day, but the lake was incredibly calm. You probably can't quite tell, but the reflection in the lake was quite clear, however, thin layers of ice were starting to form, obscuring the reflection somewhat.
Powerful sentiments, Nomad, very well wrought. A person's heart holds memories much more strongly than one's gray matter. Kudos.
I really liked this - both the photo and words :D
Pass the tissue. This is really beautiful and moving.
Fool, You're making me blush.
Miladysa, Thanks, and welcome.

Steffi, I just got your letter yesterday. Thank you so much. It was probably slow getting here because of how much snow we've been having. Thanks again.
