These pictures are from Christmas on Baker Street earlier in December. The tradition is to have part of the main street shut down. One of the local supermarkets provides food and hot chocolate. Various groups perform carols and other Christmas music. Animals are brought in from a local farm...I'm not sure whether all the animals are babies or just miniatures, in any case, they delight the children almost more than anything else, especially those who get to ride the donkey.

Your town has a wonderful Christmas celebration. Many churches and other religious organizations do the same sort of thing in our area. These are fabulous events for kids of all ages. How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

My boss was telling us that he was going to a Christmas play put on by his church. Towards the end of the Christmas story, acted by young kids, Santa makes an entrance into the Nativity scene.

We're Doomed, There are so many nice celebrations and activities around here. It's been a little chilly here. Warming up now, but we've had three days of solid snow.

My favorite Christmas decoration is a live nativity.
I know there was one local -- but the snow and cold kept me home. I wonder how they kept warm. How did yours keep from getting frost bitten?
Pamela, Actually, the day that event took place, it was snowing, but not too cold. We grow them tough up north here.
