Cheese and Quackers

Okay guys, it's been a busy couple of weeks. Not that I don't love you, I'm just not oozing with endless creativity at the moment. I would love to have some time to concentrate on and preferably master the "art of slow," but am afraid that even that does not seem to be permitted at the moment. So instead, I leave you with some photos to highlight both my hunger and craziness. And if that makes no sense, so be it.

Cute photos! There's something inherently funny about ducks on ice.

Beautiful... and "highlight my hunger and craziness" really made me smile :)

When it happens, do you suppose we could get a photo of you oozing with creativity? Does it stain your clothes?

Cheryl, I don't know, ice or not, I think there's always something a little funny about ducks. It must be the way they walk.

Guilty, Glad I got you to smile. that's usually a good thing.

Randy, Oozing sounds pretty messy, doesn't it? I'll have to check next time. I bet it does.

Are you implying that 2 out of every 3 ducks walk on water?

Carla said...

VE, Don't they??? Perhaps only northern ducks do.

JBelle, There's just something about ducks, isn't there? You've just gotta love em.

Fool, If I can get a smile, then my job here is done.

Quarrap! I still haven't gone out to have a look at the duckies so I'm taking this post as another sign that perhaps I should.

Tracey, Those orange feet certainly stand out. Now if only I could find boots in that colour.

Paris Parfait, Oh yes, things are well. Just sometimes my universe seems to change at the speed of light. Exciting, but it has its challenges.

I'll take care of it on the weekend :)

I love the ducks! Smooth on the surface and paddling crazy underneath, much like us.

Carla said...

Mone, I am a quacky duck...I think we all are somewhat.

Mark, They are very much like us...or us like them. I'm not quite sure which.

you can sure see where that saying comes about "rolled off like water off a ducks back"
... I see it beading up around their sides and belly.

Carla said...

Pamela, You certainly can. That's part of the reason why I liked these pictures.
