The unity of a family - comes from the heart....

A beautiful moment - captured again so beautifully by your amazing photo.

Peter, I'm glad you like the photo, but it was really the statue that was the true work of art.

Beautiful, like you.

It really is a very pretty statue. Where is it?

Carla said...

Tracey, Thank you. You are very kind.

Chani, The statue lives in Oslo, Norway. There is a whole park of statues from one particular artist (can't remember the name, think it starts with a V)and they are some of the most interesting inspiring statues I think I have ever seen.

Ok, next full moon I want to see the dark side of Carla! Just kidding, I like the positive side and the images...

That is such a great photo, and just a few words to go with it. How fitting the words too.

Carla said...

VE, No telling what can happen under a full moon...just no telling.

Dawn, Sometimes short and sweet is best. And sometimes I simply don't have the time to be wordy.

Beatiful statue! The heart is a symbol of overflowing love and life.

Steffi, Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Carla, Indeed it is a very special place. I, too, thoroughly enjoyed it. I could have easily spent double the time there that I did.

Annie, I find that there is often untold beauty in simplicity. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

amazing, the sculpture and statues that people come up with in their heads... and then have the talent to create it on the outside.

Carla said...

Pamela, I really think great art is divinely inspired. It is interesting to hear artists talk about how a piece of work comes to them. The creative process leaves me in awe.

I didn't realize at first that you wrote those words. Soo beautiful AND true. Gorgeous statue. An awesome work of art.

Debbie, I'm a little sneaky sometimes, aren't I? Hope you are enjoying our wintry weather. Wishing you the best for this holiday season.
