That Which Is

Do you hear the whispers of those whose blood courses through your veins as you trod on the soil from whence they came?

Do the voices of the past echo down through the shadows of the mountains or do they bubble up from within?

Can you feel the stories the stones have witnessed, the sagas of the very same imprint on your DNA?

Do you recognize that which you have never seen but is, the distant memories and past dreams which call out, which draw you in?

It is...
the passage of time
the stillness of eternity
the deja-vu

Wow...at first I thought this was Nelson...Couldn't remember such jagged peaks but its been awhile. Then I got to the last photo and I thought...wow...its really been developed with a building craze.

Glad to hear its Norway!

Keep Nelson natural! (won't work, I know...but...its my dream)

Hi Sandi, Yes, these particular photos are in Norway, mainly in the Bergen / Voss area.

Peter, Thank you. Enjoy your weekend.

Reverend Sumangali Tania Pink, Keeping Nelson natural is on my list of actionables. We do have the mountains on our side...we can only go so far before the mountains contain us and reign us back in. There has been development though...hard to stop it in such a beautiful environment.

Awesome photos Nomad! Such a pristine setting. It is such a blessing to wake to the mountains and such beauty in the backyard, eh? And the sky is crisp and clear up here today...so it's time to get out and into it. You know, just a meander to connect. Have a great weekend.
