I let myself flow onwards, I swim through my mind back and forth. My soul still sings the song that once we wrote together. We had a dream. We had everything. We rode together to the end of the world. We slew dragons. We climbed skyscrapers. The peace is gone now. I lack balance, I fall down. Still, I let myself flow onwards. I swim through my mind. But I always come back to that same place.

Mone, Thanks. Much appreciated.
Enchanting both the delightful image and of your mystique within words.
May the "same place" be one of where a heart is guided...
Alice: "How can I find her?"
Cheshire Cat: "Well, some go this way, some go that way. But as for me, myself, personally, I prefer the shortcut."
Randy
Peter, Where one finds guidance to be sure. One does not find direction unless one first seeks it.
Randy, I like shortcuts, but sometimes that ends up being the long way around.
Wow. Sad and mysterious but still a vivid picture.
Dawn, Thanks.
Very nice writing! Really vivid!
I like that piece of writing! Very nice.
That is truly a picture that kind of plays with the emotions.
Love the picture of the shells. I use to have a jar filled with shells from all the places I have ever been to. Sadly, I dropped it and they all broke. Maybe it's time to start a new one.
Follow the ebb and flow until you are clear of the flotsam and jetsam, Nomad. Writing is a good ally in finding one's way.
As the children's rhyme says, "We all fall down..." Here's to solid ground and getting back on your feet...

Chani, I'm glad you like it. It's certainly something that many of us go through.
VE, Thanks, most kind.
Jillie, I too collect whatever shells catch my fancy when I'm on a beach. Blissful happiness. Now I just need to figure out what to do with them all.
Fool, Writing certainly helps with clarity. Husha, husha, falling down is certainly no excuse to not get back up on one's feet.

it may feel like the same place, but the tide swishes things around and its all new again and impermanent.

Pink, True, nothing ever repeats itself exactly. There are always subtle differences.
Wow...beautiful!We have here on the North Sea EEbb and Flow too!I like your writing too!
Steffi, Perhaps you will be surprised to know that that picture was taken at the North Sea. It's a small world, isn't it?
What wonderful words! They paint pictures in my mind.
Best wishes
Annie
Annie, How wonderful that you've dropped in. I hope it means that your writing is going well.
I love when I can picture it.
Maggie, Things seem so much more alive and vivid when we can picture them. I love it too.
May the "seeking" give "guidance" for in so doing - a vision may well appear...
Peter, Indeed.
you should make yourself a coffee table book with these photos. I love this one, too. yum. and hugs. hang in there. The tides will turn. Things change.
JBelle, I must be tired as I keep reading, "you should make yourself a coffee," and think, "no it's a little late for that" before reading on. But I've got it now. Tides rise and fall, things change, and life is a beautiful adventure just as it should be.
