I live in the...or one of the most beautiful places on earth. But alas, I am a nomad at heart. These are my adventures.

The Crescendoing Silence
Faint murmurs on a wispy breeze Soft rumbling memories Fading into the distant seas Nothing left, not even a glimpse Softly I weep Were you ever really there? Were you ever really there?
I wonder...can one tell the difference between an ocean sunrise and an ocean sunset? I assumed this was a sunset and therefore on the West Coast but I don't know why other than the fact that most people aren't up for the crack of dawn to shoot pictures.
Burdock boy, I have to side with your friend on this one. If you're anything like I think you are, I'm certain you would love Vancouver island.
Envoy-ette, Thanks for stopping by my blog. There are lots of lovely things to see in the "North" (although we're not really that far north). I'll try to post more pictures to help you entice your husband. Good luck.
VE, Yep, that one's a sunset and on the west coast. And yep, I'm not usually one to be up at the crack of dawn for a photo shoot. Although I did get some good sunrise pictures when I was in Mexico a few years ago. Not sure what I was doing up so early.
Hlo Nomad. Gee, you've even changed your profile in the interim. Nice candid. The Universe has been a wily one to me as of late. You wouldn't believe. Thanks for the reflection this morning. Hope all is well with you.
Fool, What I know is that fact is often stranger than fiction. I'm looking forward to hearing your tales. For the most part, life is beautiful even when it isn't.
Peter, Oh you are so funny sometimes. I did pop over earlier today but didn't leave a comment as my life has been so hectic and I was short of time. But I'll stop by again tomorrow.

Steffi, I'm glad you like the picture. It was taken on Vancouver Island. I hope you had a nice weekend and happy mother's day to you.
Thanks for sharing. Lovely. I have to get to Vancouver Island sometime. I have a friend that keeps telling me that I would love it.
I need to show my hubby this picture! I've been trying to vacation NORTH forever! Maybe this is the push he needs....

With the vastness of space - indeed I was there - but sadly - only within my dreams...
A beautiful photo - depicting the scenic joy of your location.

Visions Denied, One mustn't underestimate the power of dreams. They can be a good place to be.
Pinks, Thanks.
Pamela, Yep, sometimes life is like that.

Gorgeous.
Dawn, Thanks.
"The Crescendoing Silence" - may be an appropriate title - if you pop over and see my photo on one my posts...
Caution should be used - when viewing - that's why I deny all mirrors a sight.

Key West, facing south. Waiting for the ferry from Havana to dock...year after year. Carla, you'll like that movie.
Good night and good luck.
