I live in the...or one of the most beautiful places on earth. But alas, I am a nomad at heart. These are my adventures.

Beauty
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Many things in life will catch our eye, but only a few will capture our hearts. Pursue those.
Fool, I'm glad that the message arrived when most appropriate. It's nice when that happens.
Peter, Thanks. I have been tired of the other for awhile, but just hadn't had time to play around with the templates. The header picture was one I took of the morning fog lifting from the mountains here in the Kootenays.
Hi, for some reason I always saw the other way around. I tend to remember and to value those memories which marked my life someway. But yes, you are forward-searching while I was back-retaining. By the way, I like your new format. The slight foggy picture in the header, in addition to the withe background, makes the ensemble nicely mystic. Nice picture, any missing ...
Jillie, They certainly are elegant creatures. They are beautiful to watch. Glad you like the picture.
Fede, I too hold onto memories. And although I cherish the good ones, I've come to the realization that it's important to not dwell too much or to become paralyzed by bad experiences. To do so, I would risk waking up one day and realizing life had passed me by.
Glad you like the new format. When you ask, "any missing," what do you mean? Part of the picture?

Carla, such wise words that one can always aspire too.
All the more appealing with your beautiful swan photot.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks Steffi. Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well.
Peter, In many respects, it's a reminder to myself. Enjoy the weekend.
I am copying that down right this minute!
We all need that reminder~ precious!
Swans are so elegant and serene. And when you look below the surface of the water, they are paddling furiously.
Just like us!
Sandi, I know I certainly do. Thanks for stopping by.
Dan, I am sure that if we looked hard enough, we would find many parallels between us and the swan.
Your timing is impeccable, Carla. Thank you for the reminder this day. It is a beautiful wisdom to hold to.
Carla, I see you have changed your blog skin - it is wonderful with the header picture.

Love the new blog header!
Cheryl, After tinkering endlessly to no avail with the old blogger, Blogger finally simplified. It's very easy to modify now. Glad you like it.
Very well done! I love swans...so graceful. Great picture too. There were a bunch of them in the bond in London. What graceful creatures they are.

Beautiful and so true!
Tracy, thanks. Glad you enjoyed.
...I meant, any missing young swan?
I was just trying to be a bad boy again.
You remember that picture, don't you?
;-)
Fede, My... but you are naughty! And just what did you have for breakfast this morning? ;-)
